In a metallic trading day at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC) offered almost 135,000 tons of bloom on the industrial and mining trading floor on Sunday, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported.

According to the report, the KSC supplied 30,000 tons of bloom at the base price of 14,500 rials per kg for potential customers. Based on the market demand, another 100,000 was in stock for the day’s customers.

In addition, the KSC supplied another 5,000 tons of bloom priced 14,800 rials per kg. Moreover, close to 5,500 tons of mixed rebar bundles, as well as 5,500 tons of rebar A3, 14 and 25 were put up for bids by other suppliers. Besides, 12,888 tons of rebar A3, 12 and 25 along with 616 tons of I-beam were listed on the board for trading by Isfahan Steel Company.

The industrial and mining trading floor also played host to 4,000 tons of copper cathodes at the base price of 218,501 rials per kg offered by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICIC). Based on the market demand, the NICIC announced the availability of 3,500 tons of copper cathodes at the base price of 226,031 rials per kg. Close to 30,000 tons of low-grade copper, 200 tons of molybdenum-sulfur, and 18 tons of precious metals concentrates were among the other commodities supplied by the NICIC.

The World Copper Company reportedly offered 270 tons of copper wire priced 226,581 rials per kg. Furthermore, 800 tons of 99.7 percent-purity aluminum ingots were offered by Iran Aluminum Company, as well as 100 tons of 99.98 percent-purity zinc ingots.

Almost 45,300 tons of bitumen of various grades, 17,000 tons of vacuum bottom, 6,000 tons of lube-cut oil, 1,800 tons of sulfur, and 2,210 tons of petrochemical commodities were supplied on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.

Overall, 270,000 tons of various commodities were offered on the spot market at the IME on Sunday.
