Gold coin prices registered consecutive growths during the past week to reach their four-year high in Tehran’s market on Saturday. After significant leaps in recent days, Emami gold coin fetched 13.55 million rials ($331.8) while the price of the benchmark gold coin hovered around 13.18 million rials ($322.8) about a week ago. The other benchmark gold coin, Bahar Azadi, was traded at 12.96 million rials ($317.4) on Saturday, up by 50,000 rials compared to the previous day’s close. Half and Quarter Azadi gold coins also registered gains of 30,000 rials and 20,000 rials compared to Thursday’s prices to change hands for 6.8 million rials ($166.5) and 3.8 million rials ($93), respectively.
