TCCIM to Select Best Exporters

Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture will henceforth be in charge of selecting exemplary exporters of Tehran Province, which responsibility was previously undertaken by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade. Mohammad Lahouti, a member of TCCIM’s board of representatives and the head of Iran Export Confederation, announced the news published on the chamber’s official news portal. “This is the first time in the history of selecting Tehran’s best exporters that the private sector is in charge from the very first step of reviewing the cases to picking the nominees and holding the celebratory event,” he said. Lahouti added that nominees must be a member of one of the national or provincial organizations, and they will be evaluated based on their volume of exports and forex generation, in addition to the overall value of their trade.
