Change of Leadership at Civil Servants Pension Fund

Gholamreza Shafei, a former deputy head of Iran’s Management and Planning Organization, is tipped to take the helm of Civil Servants Pension Fund, after Mahmoud Eslamian announced his resignation on Sunday. Eslamian, who headed the fund since October 2014, has a long managerial record in disparate posts, including governor general of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province, managing director of Esfahan Steel Company, managing director of Mobarakeh Steel Company, a member of the board of directors of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, and deputy head of Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran. CSPF is an independent legal entity managed by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Bourse Press reported.
