Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 8.9 points or 0.93% to close Monday trade at its all-time high record of 969.57.

IFX’s previous historical high of 961.03 was reached on September 27.

Close to 230.9 million securities valued at $36.5 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 42.86 million of its shares were traded.

Khorasan Petrochemical Company had the highest trade value, as $2.07 million of its shares were traded.

MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Plant, Shiraz Oil Refinery and Khorasan Petrochemical Company registered the highest value increase.

Shomalgharb Housing Investment Company, Pegah Fars Dairy Company and Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Oil Refinery and Khorasan Petrochemical Company had the most positive impact on the IFB benchmark.

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 60.60 points or 0.07% to end Monday trade at 87,477.2.

The benchmark is hovering around its 45-month high these days. It is closer than ever to breaking its all-time high of 89,500 reached in January 5, 2014. The head of Securities and Exchange Organization is positive the market will grow further.

“All the factors and companies involved [in Tehran Stock Exchange] are on course to bring about more growth for the [benchmark] index,” said Shapour Mohammadi on Sunday.

About 1.07 billion shares valued at $48.43 million changed hands on Monday.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Iran Carbon Company was the biggest riser, going up 8.84% to 3,952 rials per share.

Hamedan Glass Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.91% to 6,589 rials per share.

Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Iran Khodro Group and Pardis Petrochemical Company.

Mobarakeh Steel Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex.

The Price Index added 19.40 points or 0.07% to close at 28,073.7.

The First Market Index was up 116.90 points or 0.19% to post 61,079.

The Second Market Index lost 260.90 points or 0.19% to reach 191,880.1.

The Industry Index went up by 59.50 points or 0.08% to register 76,581.3.

The Free Float Index was up 40.21 points or 0.04% to hit 94,219.70.

The TSE 30 shed 1.90 points or 0.05% to settle at 3,629.4 while the TSE 50 scored 1.80 points or 0.05% to finish at 3,530.2.
