TEDPIX Starts Trading Week With Solid Gain

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 298.60 points or 0.34% to end Saturday trade at 86,935.4.

About 574 million shares valued at $34.800 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Persian Gulf Transportation Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.98% to 3,418 rials per share.

Iran Argham Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 16.17% to 5,549 rials per share.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

Iran Argham Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

The Price Index added 95.90 points or 0.34% to close at 27,899.9.

The First Market Index was up 209.00 points or 0.35% to post 60,462.9.

The Second Market Index gathered 652.30 points or 0.34% to reach 191,945.3.

The Industry Index went up by 302.80 points or 0.40% to register 76,029.9.

The Free Float Index was up 228.96 points or 0.24% to hit 93,835.30.

The TSE 30 gained 16.40 points or 0.46% to settle at 3,604.9 while the TSE 50 scored 18.50 points or 0.53% to finish at 3,504.0.

 IFX Up 0.58%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 5.45 points or 0.58% to close Saturday trade at 952.21.

Close to 185.12 million securities valued at $30.317 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 30.637 million of its shares were traded.

Tabarok Company had the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $806.041 million.

Hotel Parsian Kowsar, Pakdis Company and Ravan Faravar Company registered the highest value increase.

Shirvan Sugar Company, Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company and Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most positive impact on the IFB benchmark.
