Iran Moein Insurance Company, a firm with a focus on free trade zones, has started preliminary negotiations to start operations in Iraq. A delegation comprising of the firm’s board of directors and its executives have travelled to neighboring Iraq to explore the idea. “Business, national, religious and political interactions with Iraq have prompted us to establish a branch in the country, which could be a prelude to our continued presence in the region,” Hassan Islamipanah, the head of the board of directors of the company, was also quoted as saying by Risk News. Since life, accident and travel health insurance are the main activities of the company, Iran Moein Insurance Company aims to focus its services in Iraq around travel insurance.
