The industrial and mining trading floor at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) played host to various rebar bundles, blooms, I-beams, hot and cold-rolled steel, aluminum ingots and billets on Wednesday, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported.

According to the report, 18,200 tons of blooms by Khuzestan Steel Company, and 2,574 tons of rebar bundles from Esfahan Steel Company (ESC) were listed on the board for trade. In addition, 12,000 tons of I-beams, as well as 6,000 tons of cold-rolled B, offered also by the ESC, were traded at the spot market.

Moreover, another 4,400 tons of rebar bundles was reportedly on the board for potential customers. In the category of aluminum, 1,400 tons of 99.75%-purity aluminum ingots, and 1,600 tons of various steel billets were supplied by the Iran Aluminum Company.

The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host o almost 71,322 tons of various petrochemical commodities, and another 25,760 tons was in stock in case of additional demand.

The report added that 2,500 tons of bitumen of various grades, and roof insulation were put up for bids on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Based on market demand, an extra 4,000 tons of bitumen was in stock produced by various companies.

Overall, Wednesday was not a bustling day on the agricultural trading floor, as only close to 50 tons of cubic sugar was being traded at the IME, while 200 tons was in stock in case of extra demand.
