Saman Bank, UNICEF Sign Coop. Deal

Saman Bank has signed a cooperation deal with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) that involves the bank in humanitarian programs supported by the UN agency. Bank Saman’s CEO Seyyed Ahmad Taheri Behbahani and UNICEF’s representative in Iran, Will Parks, signed the agreement based on which the bank will create a rial account to collect donations, reports the bank’s news portal. Donors will be able to contribute through all electronic facilities and ATMs of the bank to help educate children, provide medical care and reduce poverty among Iranian children while the bank will publicize UNICEF’s efforts through all its channels. Bank Saman is the first Iranian bank to sign such an agreement with the UN body.
