All TSE Indices Down on Tuesday Trading

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index shed 159.90 points or 0.19% to end Tuesday trade at 85,355.

About 554 million shares valued at $37.35 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday. Monday was this week’s first trading day, as Saturday and Sunday were public holidays in Iran.

Mahram Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5% to 26,008 rials per share.

Bafgh Mining Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.94% to 14,512 rials per share.

Iranian Petrochemical Investment Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Tehran Oil Refinery.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company and Telecommunications Company of Iran.

The Price Index lost 51.70 points or 0.19% to close at 27,578.9.

The First Market Index dropped 113.10 points or 0.19% to post 59,093.8. The Second Market Index gave up 342.90 points or 0.18% to reach 189,862.1. The Industry Index lost 135 points or 0.18% to register 74,336.8. The Free Float Index slid by 290.52 points or 0.31% to close at 92,587.70. The TSE 30 went down 5.30 points or 0.15% to settle at 3,480.1 while the TSE 50 shed 6.70 points or 0.20% to finish at 3,384.7.

 IFX Drops 5.94 Points

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 5.94 points or 0.64% to close Tuesday trade at 942.41.

Close to 385.8 million securities valued at $271 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 49.39 million of its shares worth $1.08 million changed hands.

Rishmac Productive and Exports Company, Zarin Madan Asia and Kimia Zanjan Gostaran Mining Company had the highest value increase.

Pakdis Company, Atieh Dadeh Pardaz and Sabzevar Cement Company suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Atieh Dadeh Pardaz had the most negative impact on the IFB benchmark.
