Agricultural trading floor played host to 100 tons of white sugar, priced 20,500 rials per kg, 1,150 tons of local corn at the base price of 8,500 rials, and 25 tons of Russian barely, valued 9,270 rials per kg during Saturday’s trade at the Iran Mercantile Exchange, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported. Esfahan Steel Company offered 330 tons of rebar bundle A3-12 and 28 at the base price of 17,000 rials per kg on the industrial and mining trading floor. In addition, 3,862 tons of various polymers, 603 tons of bitumen, 80 tons of sulfur lumps, and 20 tons of argon gas were listed on the board for trade on the oil and petrochemical floor. Furthermore, 1,400 tons of bitumen 6070, 10,000 tons of sulfur lumps, and 120 tons of roof insulation were sold on the export trading floor. A total number of 23,000 tons of commodities was supplied on the spot market on Saturday. The IME was closed yesterday and will reopen today before closing on Tuesday for another public holiday.
