TEDPIX Sheds 209 Points in Sunday Trading

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index shed 209.60 points or 0.24% to end Sunday trade at 85,588.8.

About 994 million shares valued at $78.972 million changed hands for the day, TSE’s website reported.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

HiWeb was the biggest riser, going up 4.98% to 3,816 rials per share.

Behceram Granite Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.92% to 3,926 rials per share.

Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Telecommunications Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Mobin Petrochemical Company and Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran.

The Price Index shed 67.70 points or 0.24% to close at 27,655.0. The First Market Index lost 279.00 points or 0.47% to post 59,575.7. The Second Market Index gathered 256.40 points or 0.14% to reach 188,707.4.

The Industry Index declined by 216.70 points or 0.29% to register 74,557.6. The Free Float Index lost 278.52 points or 0.30% to close at 93,215.60.

The TSE 30 went down by 16.60 points or 0.47% to settle at 3,498.2 while the TSE 50 shed 5.80 points or 0.17% to finish at 3,388.4.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 4.14 points or 0.43% to close Sunday trade at 957.81.

Close to 131.41 million securities valued at $51.243 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Pars Paper Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 14 million of its shares valued at $1.3 million changed hands.

Rishmak Productive & Exports Company, Shomal Shargh Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company and Pars Paper Company registered the highest value increase.

Hormozgan Steel Company, Tolid Daru Company and Mah Taab Kahnooj Electricity Generation Company suffered the biggest decline.

Hormozgan Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Marun Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on the IFB benchmark.
