51.5% Rise in University Graduates

The findings of the most recent National Population and Housing Census show the number of university and higher education institutes’ graduates increased by 51.5% from the fiscal 2011-12 to 2016-17. There were 9,638,853 university graduates last year compared with 6,361,291 in the year ending March 2012, IRNA reported. A total of 2,379,165 were sitting for associate degree courses last year; 5,820,342 were studying for undergraduate majors; 1,291,384 for Master’s and 147,962 for PhD.
