TEDPIX Ends Wednesday Trade Above 85,000

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index jumped 487.90 points or 0.57% to end Wednesday trade at 85,831.8.

About 1.01 billion shares valued at $74.65 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

The privately-owned Internet service provider Piranshahr Sugar Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 9,347 rials per share.

Shirin Khorasan Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 20,867 rials per share.

Ghadir Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by MAPNA Group and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.

Esfahan Oil Refinery weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery and Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran.

The Price Index added 157.90 points or 0.57% to close at 27,769.1. The First Market Index gained 429.70 points or 0.72% to post 59,906.6. The Second Market Index gathered 591.70 points or 0.32% to reach 188,370.7. The Industry Index rose by 471.20 points or 0.63% to register 74,823.5. The Free Float Index won 639.81 points or 0.69% to hit 93,567.70. The TSE 30 jumped by 32.80 points or 0.94% to settle at 3,523.3 while the TSE 50 scored 20.20 points or 0.60% to finish at 3,394.7.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 0.29 points or 0.03% to close Wednesday trade at 957.35.

Close to 193.05 million securities valued at $44.04 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 23.37 million of its shares changed hands.

Parsian Kowsar Esfahan had the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $550,660.

MobinOne Kish, Hotel Parsian Kowsar and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company registered the highest value increase.

Pegah Fars Dairy Company, Goldasht Nemooneh Esfahan and Tadbirgaran Fars and Khuzestan Investment Company suffered the biggest decline.

Esfahan Steel Company, Arfa Steel Company and Lavan Oil Refinery had the most negative impact on the IFB benchmark.
