The output of Iran’s major phosphate producer, Esfordi Phosphate Industrial & Mineral Complex, reached 28,262 tons during the first five months of the current fiscal year (March 21-August 22), registering a 23% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period. The company’s phosphate extraction during the period was up 87% to 204,834 tons, Minews reported. Esfordi phosphate plant is a subsidiary of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company and located in Bafq County in Yazd Province.
