TEDPIX Gains in Wed. Trading

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 54.60 points or 0.07% to end Wednesday trade at 83,523.8.

About 775 million shares valued at $75.92 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

HiWeb was the biggest riser, going up 185% to 2,850 rials per share.

Loghman Pharmaceutical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.98% to 3,665 rials per share.

Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Tehran Oil Refinery and Asan Pardakht Persian.

MAPNA Group weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Bank Mellat.

The Price Index added 17.60 points or 0.07% to close at 27,046.

The First Market Index was down 52.40 points or 0.09% to post 58,144.3.

The Second Market Index gathered 611.70 points or 0.33% to reach 184,118.7. The Industry Index gained 71.70 points or 0.10% to register 72,565.4.

The Free Float Index won 21.24 points or 0.02% to hit 91,189.20. The TSE 30 dropped by 1.20 points or 0.04% to settle at 3,397.7 while the TSE 50 scored 5 points or 0.15% to finish at 3,302.2.

 IFX Edges Up

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX inched up 0.66 points or 0.07% to close Wednesday trade at 944.31.

Close to 217.7 million securities valued at $38.88 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 39.88 million of its shares changed hands.

Pars Paper Industries had the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1.29 million.

Baghmisheh Urban Development and Housing Company, Tadbirgaran Fars and Khuzestan Investment Company and Taliseh Nemooneh registered the highest value increase.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company, MobinOne Kish and Tolid Darou Pharmaceutical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Baghmisheh Urban Development and Housing Company had the most positive impact on the IFB benchmark.
