Newland EMEA, a Dutch manufacturer of barcode scanning and mobile communication solutions, has accelerated its growth in the Middle East with the opening of a new office in Tehran, the company reported on its website. The report noted that “until recently, Iran was one of the last unknown territories for many international brands. However, changes in the political and economic landscape have signaled a shift, opening up a market with immense potential”. The Newland Iran branch allows the automatic identification and data capture company to tap into Iran’s market in a range of sectors, including retail, hospitality, transportation, government, healthcare, warehouse and logistics, it added.
