More than 12.6 million tons of goods, mainly oil products, were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports during the fourth month of the current fiscal year (June 22-July 22), registering a 10% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran announced. With 7.27 million tons and 3.48 million tons of the overall throughput, Shahid Rajaee in Hormozgan Province and Imam Khomeini in Khuzestan Province, both in the south of the country, respectively were the most active ports during the period, Mehr News Agency reported.
