TEDPIX Gains 327 Points on Week’s Last Trading Day

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 327.60 points or 0.40% to end Wednesday trade at 81,509.3.

About 1.11 billion shares valued at $90.60 million changed hands for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Pakshoo Industrial Group was the biggest riser, going up 25.54% to 15,656 rials per share.

Iran Ferrosilicon Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.92% to 3,210 rials per share.

National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Telecommunications Company of Iran weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Iran Khodro Group and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

The Price Index gained 106.20 points or 0.40% to close at 26,431.4.  The First Market Index was up 350.70 points or 0.62% to post 57,023.2. The Second Market Index grew by 54.40 points or 0.03% to reach 178,151.4.

The Industry Index gathered 328.10 points or 0.47% to register 70,345. The Free Float Index rose by 321.80 points or 0.56% to hit 89,934.

The TSE 30 won 18.20 points or 0.56% to settle at 3,244.5 while the TSE 50 Index scored 11.90 points or 0.38% to finish at 3,166.7.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 0.89 points or 0.1% to end Wednesday trade at 920.09.

Close to 116.3 million securities valued at $28.41 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Tabarok Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares, as 3.84 million of its stocks were traded.

MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Plant witnessed the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $560,961.

Zarin Madan Asia, MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Plant and Chaharmahal Sugar Company registered the highest value increase.

Marjankar Company, Pakdis Company and Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company suffered the biggest decline.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company and Damavand Power Generation had the most negative impact on the IFB benchmark.
