Sunday’s trade included various commodities from 30 Iranian and foreign suppliers on the spot market at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) for potential customers, the IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported.

According to the report, local suppliers offered 600 tons of white sugar at the base price of 21,000 rials per kg on the agricultural trading floor. In addition, 250 tons of cubic sugar, worth 18,700 rials per kg was to be listed for trade on the same board.

Iran Aluminum Company supplied 200 tons of 99.75-purity aluminum ingots, priced 72,975 rials per kg, on the industrial and mining trading floor. Based on the market demand, another 600 tons was in stock to be listed for trade on the board.

The IME report further mentioned that oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to a wide variety of commodities including epoxy resin, styrene, butadiene, styrene monomer, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, heavy aromatics, ammonium, paraxylene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, industrial soda, bitumen, sulfur, lube-cut oil, monoethanolamine, and vacuum bottom.

Furthermore, 4,700 tons of bitumen 6070, along with 100 tons of mineral tar was up for grabs on the export trading floor.

Overall, more than 105,000 tons of different commodities were offered on the spot market on Sunday.
