The first application offering data on Iran’s capital market was released this week by Iran Financial Center. The Iran Financial Databank app is now available on IOS, Apple App Store, Google Play and the local Café Bazaar. “The development of financial markets in the last decade created a large and sporadic mass of information over different parts of the capital market. Aggregating this data and presenting it in technologically new ways were inevitable,” IFC’s public relations quoted managing director, Ali Naqavi, as saying. Established in 2007, IFC is in the business of training capital market participants in Iran. It designs and facilitates training programs for regulators, company directors and market professionals, and also holds seminars and workshops. The company’s board is made up of heads of Central Securities Depository of Iran, Iran Fara Bourse, Iran Mercantile Exchange, Tehran Stock Exchange and Iran Energy Exchange. The downside is that the application is in only in Persian, at least for now.
