Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) has seen in excess of 202,000 tons of goods offered by different industrial companies during today's trade.
Mobarakeh Steel Company on Monday offered 40,700 tons of hot-rolled steel sheet grade C on the industrial and mineral trading floor at 17,077 rials ($0.64) per kilogram in the form of forward contracts. As much as 28,600 tons of hot-rolled steel sheet grade B were also offered at 16,707 rials per kilogram in the form of forward contracts. The company also offered 6,000 tons of cold-rolled steel sheets grade B, as well as 2,500 tons of tin-coated steel sheets. The industrial and mineral trading floor also offered 3,000 tons of 27" iron-bars at 19,200 rials per kilogram by Esfahan Steel Company, 100 tons of copper wire by Ofoghe Alborz Wire and Cable Company, and 100 tons of zinc ingots 99.98 by Zanjan Zink Industries Company.
On the oil and petrochemical trading floor, traders could buy 36,000 tons of bitumen offered by the Jay Oil Company and 11,000 tons of bitumen offered by Pasargad Oil Company.
Other products offered on the floor included 23,000 tons of different types of sulfur, 17,000 tons of vacuum bottom, and 1,000 tons of lube cut.
