Online Trading 20% of Iranian Capital Market Transactions

Online trading at Iran’s capital market accounted for 29.09% and 21.42% of the total number of traded shares and trade value during the first quarter of current fiscal year (March 21-June 21. Over 36.2 billion shares valued at 204.2 trillion rials ($5.45 billion) changed hands online during the period), Securities and Exchange News Agency reported. During the third month of the year (May 22-June 21), 7.9 billion shares valued at 14.74 trillion rials ($393.2 million) or 29.76% and 19.87% of total trade changed hands online. Iranian stocks are traded at Tehran Stock Exchange and Iran Fara Bourse.
