48% Rise in Mouteh Gold Output

Mouteh Gold Mine produced 65 kilograms of gold ingots during the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), registering a 48% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported. Thirty-five kilograms were produced in the second month, showing a 46% rise year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province.
