Iran’s major phosphate producer, Esfordi Phosphate Industrial & Mineral Complex, generated 11,223 tons of phosphate during the first two months of the current fiscal year (March 21-May 21), registering a 13% increase compared to last year’s corresponding period. The company’s phosphate extraction during the period was up 138% to 43,305 tons, Minews reported. Esfordi phosphate plant is a subsidiary of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company and located in Bafq County in Yazd Province.
