IIran has been picked as a key member of the steering committee for Expo 2015 after it gained a majority of votes, Seyed Mohammad Jozi, the consulate general of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Milan told IRIB on Friday.  Hassan Esfahbodi, deputy minister of industry, mine and trade represented Iran in the voting process, Jozi said.
France, Switzerland, and the UAE also were picked as other members of the committee following Iran. Italy, as the host country, as well as Angola were chosen as the honorary members of the committee, according to Jozi.
