More than 89,000 tons of 33 types of commodities were offered on the spot market at the Iran Mercantile Exchange on Saturday, IME’s public relations and international affairs office reported.
Almahdi Hormozal Aluminum Company offered 100 tons of 99.7-purity aluminum ingots with the base price of 81,890 rials per kg on the industrial and mining trading floor.
The oil and petrochemical trading floor played host to different chemicals and polymers of local petrochemical complexes.
Caustic soda, PVC, p-Xylene, polyethylene, heavy aromatics, styrene monomer, epoxy resin, poly propylene, poly-butadiene rubber, toluene diisocyanate, hydrochloric acid, and nitric acid were among the commodities offered on the oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Furthermore, 40,000 tons of bitumen of various grades as well as 1,000 tons of granulated sulfur was also up for grabs on the same trading floor.
The agricultural trading floor was seeing the trade of almost 7,990 tons of kabkab dates, 1,000 tons of durum wheat and 200 tons of Indian rice.
The report also said that 6,250 tons of bitumen of different grades, as well as 100 tons of roof insulation were listed on the board to be trade for export purposes.
