TEDPIX, IFX Reap Solid Gains From Saturday Trading

Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 651.30 points or 0.83% to end Saturday trade at 79,302.7.

More than 1.22 billion shares valued at $73.67 million changed hands for the day.

Negin Tabas Coal Company was the biggest riser, going up 21.11% to 3,477 rials per share.

Hamadan Glass Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.82% to 8,787 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by SAIPA and Esfahan Oil Refinery Company.

Mobarakeh Steel Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Jam Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index gained 226.10 points or 0.83% to stand at 27,530.2.

The First Market Index added 301.90 points or 0.55% to post 55,231.1.

The Second Market Index won 2,277.30 points or 1.32% to reach 174,670.3.

The Industry Index was up 611.30 points or 0.90% to register 68,173.4.

The Free Float Index gathered 780.87 points or 0.90% to hit 87,583.30.

The TSE 30 Index gained 13.80 points or 0.45% to settle at 3,105.5 while the TSE 50 Index was up 19.60 points or 0.64% to finish at 3,066.4.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX climbed 9.15 points or 1.01% to end Saturday trade at 916.93.

Close to 557.3 million securities valued at $50.71 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company saw the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 112.4 million of its shares worth $2.47 million changed hands.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company, MAPNA Group and Afranet Company registered the highest value increase.

Sabzevar Cement Company, Iranian Investment Incorporation and Pakdis Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Lavan Oil Refinery and Shiraz Oil Refinery had the most positive influence on the IFB benchmark.
