Mouteh Gold Mine produced 380 kilograms of gold ingots in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2017), indicating a 54% growth compared with those of the preceding year, the mine’s managing director said. The company’s plans for the current year, Alireza Talari added, include boosting output, supporting other gold mines without ore processing facilities and purchasing 120,000 tons of minerals containing gold. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province.
