The chairman of the board and CEO of Bank Keshavarzi (Agriculture Bank) said his institution is attempting to boost the bank’s capital and is in desperate need of government’ support, Banker.ir reported on Monday. Morteza Shahidzadeh highlighted the renewed mission of the bank in a top level meeting with branch managers in the province of Khorasan Razavi, saying that one of the main goals of his bank is to help develop agricultural projects in a bid to play a role in improving food security across the country. The chairman also said that the institution would soon improve its online services.
