IME Monday Trade

Over 133,000 metric tons of different commodities, worth 2.6 trillion rials, were traded at the Iran Mercantile Exchange’s physical spot on Monday. According to the IME’s public relations office, Hormozgan Steel Company offered 40,000 metric tons of slabs C on the industrial and mineral products trading floor at 14,320 rials per kilogram. The hall also witnessed the trade of 40 metric tons of copper wire offered by Kaveh Copper Company. The bulk was priced 218,225 rials per kilogram. Different petrochemical companies were also offered over 12,000 metric tons of polymers on the oil and petrochemical trading floor on Monday. The buyers could also buy 5,182 metric tons of bitumen, 3,000 metric tons of vacuum bottom and 20 metric tons of ammonia on the same trading floor.
