More than 151,000 metric tons of various commodities were traded at the Iran Mercantile Exchange on Saturday, IME’s PR and international affairs office reported.
According to the report, 200 tons of wheat bran from Kazakhstan was offered at 7,800 rials on the soft commodities trading floor, while the buyers were also offered 1,500 metric tons of canola meal and 200 metric tons of Russian flint corn.
As much as 1,000 metric tons of durum wheat, 300 metric tons of white sugar, 200 metric tons of domestic flint corn, and 250 metric tons of hard sugar were also offered on the same trading floor.
Some 28,400 metric tons of polymers from different petrochemical complexes and 12,000 metric tons of vacuum bottom were offered on the oil and petrochemical products trading floor.
Moreover, the buyers had the chance to purchase 61,000 metric tons of bitumen by Pasargad Oil Company. Also, 30,000 metric tons of the bitumen of different grades was offered on Saturday by Jey Oil Company.
Zarand Coke Company also offered 4,400 metric tons of the mineral on the industrial and mineral trading floor of the IME.
