The new aluminum ingot production unit at the Iran Aluminum Company has physical progress of almost 75 percent, Majid Feizabadi, the company’s managing director told IRNA, adding that once the project is complete, the company will be self-sufficient in all sectors. Feizabadi further underlined that the company produces 250,000 tons of alumina power annually, adding that this amount was reached first last year.
