Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 165.70 points or 0.21% to end Tuesday trade at 79,800.8.

More than 650 million shares valued at $28.2 million changed hands for the day.

Tehran Nosazi and Sakhteman Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 24.92% to 1,841 rials per share.

Alborz Cable Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.99% to 3,390 rials per share.

National Iranian Copper Industries Company weighed the most on TEDPIX, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Pars Khodro.

Tose’e Meli Investment Group gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Credit and Pension Fund Investment Company and Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company.

The Price Index was down 58.30 points or 0.21% to stand at 28,077.7.

The First Market Index shed 111.30 points or 0.20% to post 56,788.8.

The Second Market Index lost 387.40 points or 0.23% to reach 169,013.6.

The Industry Index gave up 113.90 points or 0.17% to register 67,225.9.

The Free Float Index dropped by 349.62 points or 0.40% to settle at 88,028.60.

The TSE 30 Index inched down 7.80 points or 0.24% to close at 3,269.5 while the TSE 50 Index edged down 5.20 points or 0.16% to finish at 3,146.6.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 5 points or 0.05% to end Tuesday trade at 857.

Close to 289 million securities valued at $45.5 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Kosar Credit Institution saw the highest number of traded shares, with the transaction of more than 5.7 million shares.

Zagros Petrochemical Company accounted for the highest trade value, as $1.3 million worth of its shares changed hands.

Afra Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Marjan Kar Company had the highest value increase.

Sobhan Pharmaceutical Company, Ballast Company, and Tuka Refractories Company suffered the highest decline.
