The Central Securities Depository of Iran issued 23 codes for foreigners to trade in Iran’s equity market during the Iranian month ending December 20, bringing the total number of foreign traders in the market to 769, according to SCDI’s Managing Director Mohammad Reza Mohseni. The foreigners included nine non-institutional investors from the United States, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Poland, China, Iraq and Afghanistan, and 14 institutional investors from Georgia, the UAE, Afghanistan, Indonesia, China, Oman, Germany and Sweden, ILNA reported.
