Around 232,000 metric tons of polymers, metals and agricultural commodities were traded on Tuesday at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), IME’s PR and international affairs office reported.

According to the report, 42 grades of polymers by local petrochemical companies were up for grabs on the oil and petrochemical trading floor. Styrene butadiene rubber, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, PVC, and polypropylene were among commodities that were supplied on this floor.

In addition, 45,000 tons of bitumen of different grades, 5,000 tons of vacuum bottom, and 3,450 tons of sulfur were offered on the same trading floor.

Jey Oil Refining Company offered 102,000 tons of bitumen of various grades on the export trading floor. Moreover, close to 4,150 tons of bitumen were supplied by other manufacturers during Tuesday’s trade.

The report also went on to say that 400 tons of billet 7-6063, as well as 1,000 tons of alloy ingot were offered by the Iranian Aluminum Company on the industrial and mining trading floor.

Furthermore, close to 2,100 tons of local corn, and 1,000 tons of durum wheat were supplied on the agricultural trading floor.

 Moreover, 300 tons of white sugar, 250 tons of cubic sugar, 500 tons of sunflower meal, and 500 tons of soybean flakes were traded on the agricultural trading floor.
