Astrakhan Hosts Iranian Trade Exhibition

The city of Astrakhan in southern Russia is hosting the Industrial Trade Exhibition of Iran, otherwise known as “Iran Project”.
The event opened on Wednesday and will run until December 9.
More than 30 Iranian companies active in a wide range of fields, including food, petrochemicals, textile and construction sectors, are participating.
“Astrakhan has the potential to be one of the most important trade hubs between Iran and Russia, much to the benefit of the two countries’ private sectors,” Ali Mohammadi, consul general of Iran in Astrakhan, was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Iran-Russia Trade Conference is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the event organized by Pars Pegah Tejarat International Trading Company and supported by Iran’s Embassy in Moscow and Consulate in Astrakhan.
