More than 440 foreign companies as well as 345 Iranian exhibitors will attend the 9th Auto Parts International Exhibition, due to be inaugurated November 28 in Tehran, reported IRIB News.

The exhibition this year, IAP 2014, will host foreign companies from 20 countries including Germany, Turkey, Japan, Italy, Argentina, India, France, the UK, Spain, Brazil, Belgium, China, Taiwan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Austria. Only 15 foreign countries attended the 8th exhibition last year.

The IAP is considered the biggest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East, showcasing parts, equipment, services, and car accessories.

The exhibition will be held in 13 halls on a 36,000-square meter venue on Tehran’s Permanent International Fairground. During the four-day event, visitors can find a wide range of automotive aftermarket products and services including machineries to manufacture parts, engineering and research platforms, raw material and accessories for vehicles, specialized automobile journals, car maintenance equipment, a wide assortment of car cleaning products, and after-sales services.

A number of meetings and educational workshops will also be held on the sidelines of the IAP 2014 in which academics, experts, designers, and researchers will share their knowledge of the auto parts industry.

The organizers say the IAP 2014 mainly aims at preparing the ground to develop industrial cooperation between Iranian and foreign companies, finding new export markets, and establishing new commercial ties for exchanging expertise and technical knowhow as well as globally successful experiences.
