TSE-Listed Firms Raise $248m in 7 Months

Companies listed on Tehran Stock Exchange raised 9 trillion rials ($248 million at market exchange rate) in the seven months ending October 21 through stock splits, retained earnings and other methods, Keyvan Sheikhi, TSE’s head of Statistics Department, told Fars News Agency. TSE-listed companies raised 18.9 trillion ($520 million) in the last fiscal year (ended March 19, 2016) and 20.7 trillion ($570 million) the year before.
