The Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) will host the annual meeting of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) in 2015, the exchange’s PR department reported. The idea was proposed by Hassan Ghalibaf-Asl, TSE director, during a meeting in Zagreb, which was welcomed by the group. The FEAS General Assembly and Executive Committee meeting was held on November 19-21. The members aim to underscore the FEAS’ role in strengthening the corporate governance, disclosure, market control, and risk management to protect the capital markets against potential financial crises. The FEAS was established on May 16, 1995 with 12 founding members. Currently there are 34 members, 12 affiliate members and 4 bilateral members including post-trade institutions, dealers associations and regional federations from 30 countries.
