Kish INVEX Expects Strong Turnout

About 160 companies, including some 30 foreign firms, have so far signed up to attend this year’s edition of Kish INVEX expo, which will be held on the southern coast of Kish Island from October 31 to November 12, Bourse Press reported.
The expo consists of two separate events: Third EBEX, an international exhibition on Iran’s financial industry including securities markets, banking, insurance and privatization; and Eighth Iran Invest Show, an international exhibition and conference on Iran’s investment opportunities to be held concurrently with EBEX. The event’s organizers hope this year’s expo will get more attention from abroad, following the removal of sanctions imposed against Iran over its nuclear program in January.
As many as 200 companies, 40 of which were foreign, took part in INVEX 2015.
