Key concepts of the insurance industry have been incorporated in high school syllabus for the first time, Abdolnasser Hemmati, president of Central Insurance company of Iran announced on Sunday. “Starting from this year, the concepts are included in six high school textbooks, including Work and Technology, Accountancy, and Social [Skills] Training at grade 7,” the Ministry of Economy news website, SHADA, quoted him as saying. The senior insurer noted that the CII has plans to also include subjects on insurance in the primary school curriculum. “This will help boost the industry in the long-term.” The moves are in line with CII plans to promote awareness about the role and significance of insurance among the public.
