Mouteh Gold Mine produced 117 kilograms of gold ingots during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21), indicating an 18% increase compared with last year’s corresponding period. The mine’s output also increased by 14% in the Iranian month of Mordad (July 22-August 21), as it produced 25 kilograms of ingots, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported on its website. Mouteh Gold Mine, located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province, is Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral.
