Central Bank of Iran Governor Valiollah Seif appointed Amir Shokri as director general on CBI’s Board of Executives. Formerly, Shokri was the head of CBI’s money issuance and circulation office, the central bank’s website reported on Sunday. Ahmad Araqchi, who held the position before Shokri, is now serving as a member of Securities and Exchange Organization.
