Located in southeastern end of the country, close to Indian Ocean, Chabahar can play a significant role in the expansion of Afghanistan’s trade with the world. Salehabadi noted that a 50-million-euro credit line is planned for exporters of Iranian goods to Afghanistan, through the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran, mainly “for boosting trade between the two countries.”
