Invex 2016 is scheduled for October 31-November 12 on Kish Island, according to the event’s organizer Aria Hamidian.
The event consists of two separate expos, namely the third EBEX and the eighth Iran Invest Show.
EBEX is an international exhibition on Iran’s financial industry including securities markets, banking, insurance and privatization. Eight foreign companies are participating in this expo, according to Hamidian as reported by Boursepress.
‘Invest Show’ on the other hand is the name for the 8th international exhibition and conference on Iran’s investment opportunities which will be held simultaneous with EBEX. Foreign firms have shown interest in Invest Show and 20 foreign companies have registered for participation. This year’s event is likely to draw added attention from overseas with the implementation of the nuclear accord between Iran and the West.
As many as 200 domestic and international companies—40 of them were foreign according to IRNA – took part in Invex 2015 which was held late last yaar, before the international sanctions were lifted.
