The 17th International Exhibition of Food and Food Processing, iFood 2016, opened in Mashhad, the capital of Khorasan Razavi Province, on Thursday with more than 200 Iranian and 800 foreign companies attending, said the CEO of Mashhad International Exhibition Co. “Companies from Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Poland, China, India, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Pakistan are taking part and are showing their latest products and services in the food industry,” IRNA quoted Ehsan Arkani as saying. The event will run until August 28. iFood 2016 is the 17th edition of the annual specialized event in the northeastern shrine city. It is organized jointly by the Khorasan Industrial Estates Company and the Iranian Northeast Food Technology & Biotech Park under the patronage of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Khorasan Razavi Province.
