Executives of SAIPA, Iran’s second-largest automaker, asked insurance companies to introduce innovative insurance coverage to meet the carmaker’s needs. During a meeting with chief executives of insurance companies on Monday, Hossein Bozorgnejad, the head of SAIPA’s insurance brokerage firm, said insurers need to accept higher risks and meet customers’ needs. “We gathered here to explain our key problems to you, so that you come up with new insurance solution to help us secure our future,” Risknews.ir quoted him as saying. Nasser Akhoundi, SAIPA’s deputy for investment, said insurance coverage for flawed auto parts or production lines is among the key needs of the company.
