Iran’s 120 steel pipe and profile manufacturers with annual production capacity of 18.5 million tons are capable of meeting the infrastructure development needs of the Iraqi people, said the head of the Syndicate of Steel Pipe and Profile Manufactures, Amir Kaveh at a meeting with Iraq’s deputy minister of trade Walid Habib al-Mousavi in Tehran. He said the Iranian companies are ready for joint manufacture of pipes and profiles in Iraq.
Mousavi said Iraq will soon embark on massive reconstruction programs following the ouster of IS terrorists in some cities. The Baghdad government intends to benefit from Iranian help in the national reconstruction process, IRNA quoted him as saying.
