To expedite banking transactions between Iran and China, the Central Bank of Iran on Tuesday opened two new accounts in euro and yuan with the Export-Import Bank of China (Chexim). The agreement was reached on the sidelines of the 16th meeting of the Iran-China Economic Commission in Beijing with the goal of creating the conditions based on which the financing of joint economic schemes and expansion of bilateral banking cooperations would be made possible, reports the official website of CBI. Working with more than a thousand top-tier banks throughout the world, Chexim ranks among the biggest banks of China. The bank is in possession of one of the most important international financial-banking correspondence networks.
